2:00 PM - 3:15 PM: Breakout 7
In the fast-paced and ever-changing environment in which we all fundraise, there is rarely time to stop and assess the mechanics of your program. And if your program is chugging along and successful, is it even necessary? In this session, you will hear why American Foundation for the Blind decided to conduct an audit of their direct response program - including major donor and planned giving, how the assessment was performed, and what were the outcomes. Organizations of all sizes can benefit from knowing how to make the decision to undertake a comprehensive audit, where to begin, what to look for, and how to document and apply findings.
