Women's Bodies and the Power of Pleasure
Description: Contemporary medical care for women is trending toward a path of technological intervention - focusing on pathology, and away from fostering pleasure. There exists a widening divide between the psycho-sexual needs of women and chemical/procedural offerings of health care providers. This workshop explores a model of sex positive health care that incorporates specific techniques to teach women about form and function in order to connect with and embrace sexual well-being and sovereignty, while meeting their needs to treat disease.
Objective(s): At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to: employ 3 methods for empowering women to accept the importance of pleasure in life and engage in their version of sexual mastery.
