Altheà Moses, Enforcement Coordination Office U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 7
Altheà Moses has served as the Deputy Director for the Region 7 U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Enforcement Coordination Office since 2010. Included in her responsibilities are serving as the region's Environmental Justice (EJ) coordinators and Community Involvement Manager for Superfund and RCRA. Ms. Moses has more than 20 years of experience working with communities, all levels of government, as well as business and industry to address environmental problems using many tools including grants; facilitation; mediation; regulatory compliance assistance, compliance monitoring, and enforcement; and environmental clean-up. Ms. Moses joined the agency in 1991 as an environmental engineer focused on the regulation of municipal solid waste landfills. She served as the acting branch chief of the State Revolving Fund branch in water division and the director of ECO. Ms. Moses has a Bachelor of Science Civil Engineering degree from Prairie View A&M University of Texas.
