Joey Hentzler is Director of Advocacy for Kansas Appleseed working with poor and marginalized Kansans to build power in communities across the state to achieve meaningful change. He grew up in Shawnee County outside of Topeka where there were more cattle than neighbors. His resume includes stints in electoral politics and non-partisan positions at the Dole Institute of Politics while he was a student at the University of Kansas and at the International Relations Council in Kansas City.
