Laura Jones, MS, KCSDV
Laura Jones is the Statewide SANE/SART Projects Coordinator at the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence (KCSDV). She provides training and technical assistance to a wide range of multidisciplinary professionals on sexual and domestic violence dynamics, response, and prevention. Ms. Jones has been with KCSDV since 2014. In her prior role as the KCSDV Rural Collaboration Coordinator, she worked with rural communities across the state to develop local collaboration efforts focused on victim safety and perpetrator accountability, including work with SARTs and other sexual assault focused initiatives in rural Kansas communities. Ms. Jones also leads the KCSDV Economic Empowerment project, working with KCSDV member program on initiatives that enhance survivors' financial safety and well-being. Laura has a Masters degree in School Administration and prior to joining KCSDV was the state coordinator for Title IV - Safe and Drug Free Schools with the Kansas State Department of Education, where she trained statewide on school safety and prevention issues. Laura also taught at the secondary level in Kansas public schools before transitioning to the state level.
