Fred Bentley, Kansas Housing Resources Corporation
Fred Bentley is the Director of Rental Development for the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation. He is primarily responsible for Housing Tax Credit Allocations and the Moderate Income Housing Program in addition to managing some aspects of the Private Activity Bonds set aside for multi-family housing. He is a member of the Central Bank of Kansas City Advisory Board for New Market Tax Credits.

Prior to joining the Department of Commerce & Housing, predecessor to the KHRC, in 1991, he was the executive director of the Kansas Rural Center, a non-profit advocacy organization for family farmers and rural communities. He has also practiced law and operated a land title business. He is a graduate of Kansas State University and Washburn University School of Law.
