Barry Dicker, Decent Energy, Inc
 
Barry Dicker is founder and president of Decent Energy, Inc. and a member of the Consortium for Environmental Stewardship and Sustainability (CESAS) Speakers Bureau. His unique vantage point comes from blending local market conditions in the efficiency and renewable energy industries with a national commercial and policy context. Mr. Dicker's energy efficiency and renewable energy involvement has extended for over a decade, including technology commercialization, building energy modeling, installing pilot systems, facilitating renewable energy project development, and conducting residential, commercial and industrial energy assessments. Mr. Dicker has served as a consulting expert in multi-family energy efficiency, and as a former transactional business lawyer, he brings additional perspectives on technology commercialization and economic development. Mr. Dicker is a graduate of Hamilton College and Harvard Law School.
Organized in 2005, Decent Energy, Inc. is centrally located in the metropolitan Kansas City area. Since its inception Decent Energy's focus has been to offer a range of innovative energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions to market; emphasize the importance of selecting sound solution application, holistic design, and integration of energy efficiency with renewable energy measures; and advocate for policies that support a level playing field for energy efficiency and renewable energy. Decent Energy's services and solutions involve energy analytics, systems and solutions design and development, and technology commercialization.
