Mark Ray
Vancouver Public Schools, Director of Innovation and Library Services
Mark Ray is currently Director of Innovation and Library Services for Vancouver (WA) Public Schools and Future Ready Librarians Lead at the Alliance for Excellent Education. Named 2012 Washington State Teacher of the Year and an NSBA "20 to Watch" in 2015, he developed and led digital learning, professional development, and innovative librarian programs. Mark has presented and written about digital citizenship and literacy, innovative libraries, open educational resources, and computational thinking. His recent projects include creating a micro-credential and ISTE U course on Future Ready Librarians and participating in the recent CoSN international educational visit to Norway and Finland.
