Amy is a security/privacy professional with over 20 years of technology leadership experience in education, state, local, and federal government. While she began her IT career as a web designer and developer, early on she moved into enterprise network and data management and information security. A Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) since 2003, she is deeply committed to strong privacy and data protection efforts that prevent data theft and misuse and make data available for approved uses.
Also an experienced educator, Amy has a strong commitment to student success and support. In addition to being a CISM, she holds a Master of Science in Information Technology Management, a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy, and is a CoSN Certified Education Technology Leader .
Amy is currently the Director of Information Services at Oregon State University's Student Health Services where she is actively involved in renovating the organization's use of technology and data.
