Paul Foster

Paul Foster is the Chief Information Officer of the Springfield Public Schools and leads the Office of Information, Technology, and Accountability in meeting schools needs around technology, digital learning, assessment, data, information, and research. He has led implementation of the district's personalized learning initiative (with laptops for every student in grades 3-12), expansion of the District use of data through reporting, dashboards, and predictive analytics, and efforts to ensure every student is taught computer science from K through 12th grade. Mr. Foster has a BA in History and African American Studies from Harvard College and an MA in Social Policy from Brandeis University.
