Throughout his career, Michael Rozin has focused on proactive protection against terrorists and other high-risk perpetrators of violence. Michael led the multilayered security operation for Superbowl 52 in 2018. He is a graduate of the Institute of Counter-Terrorism in Hertzliya, Israel, where he attended a masters level executive counter-terrorism studies program. He served as a sergeant in the Israel Defense Forces prior to entering private security. Michael also served as Special Operations Security Captain at the Mall of America in Minnesota, where he developed a behavioral detection unit and various programs which proved to be so effective that Michael presented them to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security as a model for security in the private sector. Michael is a faculty member at University of Minnesota's Master of Science in Security Technology program and a frequent speaker at law enforcement conferences on counter-terrorism and proactive security methods.
