Brief Session Description: In order to foster 21st century learning, looking to the strategies of successful tech startups is key. We will show how tools like Slack and Trello can promote creativity, enhance critical thinking, boost collaboration, and streamline communication in the classroom. Learn how to utilize these strategies with your students and with other teachers globally for cross-curricular Project-Based Learning endeavors, and leave with an understanding of real-world workflow and how to train students for beyond the classroom. Session attendees will be able to leave being able to describe how the strategies of tech startups foster 21st century learning in the classroom. Design their own learning environment leveraging the technology tools demonstrated. In essence, to effectively apply a real-world workflow to any classroom or collaboration.
