Brief Session Description: Meriden Public Schools share a common goal: to provide diverse students with opportunities for a better life. The 4th Industrial Revolution creates a greater urgency to ensure all students can be successful in a global society. In this interactive session, our team will share how management/labor collaborate to provide a flexible digital learning environment to meet the needs of all learners. See how the positive impact of personalized pathways through blended learning leads to greater voice and choice, critical thinking, creativity and academic gains. Learn how instructional coaching models support teachers as they explore limitless possibilities of various technologies. Peer to peer learning continues for both students and teachers through Tech Buddies, I'm Charged Teachers and other innovative strategies. Our team will share how embracing digital learning turned an urban, economically-challenged district with poor achievement into a nationally recognized, award-winning successful school system.
