Disability Services Liaison: Access on Your Campus

The Disability Services Liaison (DSL) is a position you can implement on your campus. DSLs help the campus Disability Services office become more culturally competent, while helping fellow student veterans understand the importance of academic accommodations. A turnkey solution called the DSL Toolkit will assist in a quick startup, provide some basic ideas to get started, and some novel concepts for those interested in advanced techniques. DSLs get experience for their LinkedIn profile and resume, and can also be a paid VA Workstudy. Information from this session is designed to be taken back to your campus to assist in the implementation of a DSL.
