Co-Presenter Bio: Lissa Johnson is Director of Administration at the Center for Social Development (CSD), adjunct professor at Washington University in St. Louis, and Director of Policy Initiatives for the Grand Challenges for Social Work. She manages Center finances and operations as well as research projects in the areas of financial capability and asset-building (FCAB) with a particular focus on youth and school banking. Research includes an assessment of FCAB in the social work curriculum. She led the YouthSave Savings Demand Assessment in Colombia, Ghana, Kenya, and Nepal, and advised on an American Indian youth savings program in Oklahoma. Previously, Ms. Johnson managed the American Dream Policy Demonstration (ADD) research, the first nationwide study of Individual Development Accounts leading the development and commercialization of management information system software (MIS IDA) to provide program administration, account management, and data monitoring for organizations in the U.S. and Uganda. She earned her MSW and LCSW from Washington University in St. Louis.
