Mr Eric Scott Klein MSS, LSW, Northampton Community College, CRP, Coordinator
Eric is a doctoral student at Bryn Mawr College. Among his topics of interest, Eric is researching how to build recovery capital for students of color in emerging adulthood via CRPs/CRCs, as well as the use of recovery capital to mitigate intersectional biases in CRP/CRC programming. Other topics that inform Eric's research are institutional life course theory, development of recovery high schools and CRPs in every community with a clinical focus on life stage and demographically-appropriate integration, MAT and HRT options in recovery systems, and LGBTQ self-harm and suicide interventions. Concurrently, Eric is the Coordinator of the Northampton Community College CRP. Eric identifies as a person in long term recovery and uses the pronouns he, him and his. He is also a former opera major at Carnegie-Mellon University who sings professionally every weekend.
