Teaching Pleasurable Touch
Description: One of the most common sexual challenges people face is not knowing how to offer touch that brings pleasure to a partner. Rather than focusing on teaching new techniques, sexuality professionals can help their clients and students learn how to create pleasurable touch through awareness, attunement, and feedback. Somatic sex educator Charlie Glickman PhD will show you four powerful, non-sexual practices that you can offer your clients to help them create deeper connection, better communication, and more pleasurable touch.
Objective(s): At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to: identify three ways that dynamics of compliance and enduring unpleasant sex can shape sexual interactions; utilize, with clients, at least three practices to create attuned, pleasurable touch based on active consent.
