Brief Session Description: Today's digital classrooms require connectivity for almost any device. The opening of networks to accommodate the growing number of devices fosters inevitable security risks which could lead to data breaches and data leaks of sensitive student and staff information. Inadequate security comes at a cost and schools need to take the necessary steps to secure data and protect students and staff.

This presentation will dive into the changing threat landscape, highlight current threat intelligence, and provide best practices to secure school networks against sophisticated and powerful cyberattacks. We'll also explore real-world use cases describing how cutting-edge schools are designing security into transformational IoT-based applications from the moment they are launched. With these strategies, these schools are providing the most secure uninterrupted digital learning environment possible, and protecting their most precious resources -students and staff.
