Michael Terry Everett, ABD, is a Philadelphia native who has spent 18 years in human services working to support social health needs of youth and young adults. Michael has spent much of his career implementing and developing curricula for and about the developmental needs of adolescents. As a master trainer of several CDC evidence-based curriculum including Focus on Youth with IMPACT & Be Proud! Be responsible! Michael is a premier go-to trainer when it comes to working with young people. Currently, Michael is the Project Director of Community Impact Solutions Project (CISP) at ETR & Associates where he has supported hundreds of individuals both in the United States and internationally in navigating sexual health and social health access challenges as a trainer /educator/ coach/ counselor. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Administration of Justice from Penn State, and a Master's in Human Services with a concentration in counseling, from Lincoln University. He is currently Michael is finalizing his doctoral degree in education where he intends on investing in charter schools that have a focus on using meditation and holistic wellness as means to support children in positively navigating emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health. Michael is a married first-time father and co-owner of a small consultant project called Intimacy & Colour. The work of Intimacy & Colour is inspired by the lives of African-American same gender loving men of color and their experiences with sexual health. Growing up in a dominant society who has historically refused to see these men resulted in pathologies of unhealthy relationships.
