Kimberly M. James, MSW, LSW is the Supervisor of the Central Region Team in the Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Department at The University of Pittsburgh's Child Welfare Resource Center (CWRC). Kimberly supervises of team of five staff who work with County Children and Youth Agencies to improve the services that they offer to children, youth, and families. Kimberly has over 20 years of experience in the field of child welfare, four years of which included experience providing organizational change support to counties as a Practice Improvement Specialist at CWRC in the Central Region before moving into the supervisor role. Prior to joining the Child Welfare Resource Center, Kimberly worked in both a private provider agency in the areas of foster care, child and adolescent therapy, and staff training as well as a public child welfare agency. Kimberly also worked for the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN) for five years as a Regional Technical Assistant and as a county children and youth administrator. Kimberly holds a Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) from Bloomsburg University, a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Temple University and is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
