Double Time Challenges and Benefits One Model of an Accelerated Program
Track: Higher Education
This session is intended to be an educational, lecture style sharing of information, lessons, learned and best practices established for an accelerated bachelor's degree program for veterans: the structures and support systems created, the student experience of an accelerated program, the benefits and challenges from both student and administrative perspectives and lessons learned. Included in the presentation will be time for discussion and Q&A. The session will benefit veterans who will have completed at least 60 semester hours of approved college credits, or an Associate Degree and who may be considering furthering their education by applying to an accelerated bachelor degree program. Schools that are seeking to initiate a program or want to learn about best practices in an already existing program may also find value in this presentation.
