Engagement on a university campus is one of the top indicators of academic and professional success for college students. Campuses all across the country offer a myriad of untapped resources and opportunities for students to grow their personal and professional networks. Our panel has over 75 years of combined military service, along with decades of experience as college students, university administrators, and counselors for veterans and military students in all stages of their academic careers. In this session, we will introduce some of the struggles students face connecting on a university campus. Our panel will present different ways student veterans can engage with different resources, advocate for added resources on their home campus, and how to help incoming students connect to the campus and the community.
