Dr. Leo J. Shea III is President of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Educational Foundation and Immediate Past President of the ILADS. He is President of Neuropsychological Evaluation and Treatment Services, P.C. with offices in New York City and the Boston area. His practice focuses on tick-borne diseases, traumatic brain injury, chronic illness, forensic work and trauma and provides cognitive remediation and psychotherapy to individuals and families. Dr. Shea is a Senior Staff Psychologist and Clinical Associate Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Rusk Institute, a division of the New York University-Langone Medical Center.
ILADS is a nonprofit, international, multi-disciplinary medical society, dedicated to the diagnosis and appropriate treatment of Lyme and its associated diseases. ILADS promotes understanding of Lyme through research and education and strongly supports physicians and other health care professionals dedicated to advancing the standard of care for Lyme and its associated diseases.
