Michael R. Roush is the Manager of Financial Empowerment and Innovation at National Disability Institute (NDI). Michael provides training and technical assistance across the country on Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), financial education and other asset development strategies to empower individuals, organizations and other stakeholders on the importance of economic self-sufficiency for persons with disabilities. In addition, Michael develops and assists with the implementation of new innovative projects including the Financial Success Collaborative, the My American Dream Video Contest, Virtual VITA Pilot, and NDI's E-Learning project. Prior to joining NDI, Michael was a consultant with the University of South Florida's Center for Inclusive Communities, a disability program navigator for WorkNet Pinellas, and served as director of the Learning Center for the George G. Glenner Family Centers in San Diego, California. He holds a Master of Arts in Human Behavior.
