High-Involvement Planning: Lessons from the Field
Thursday, September 7th, 2017
2:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Concurrent Sessions III
Room: Governor's Lecture Hall
When the Game is created with broad participation - specifically the people who are closest to the action and who understand the realities - it creates a level of commitment and alignment that just can't be matched. High-Involvement Planning (HIP) helps companies transform their planning process from an annual, time-consuming ritual to a highly informative, educational journey that involves everyone at every level of the company in understanding the Big Picture, and the importance of looking forward into the marketplace.

In this session, the president of imageOne (a member of the 2016 and 2017 Great Game All-Star Team) will share his experiences implementing HIP, the benefits he has seen as a result, his implementation tips, and best practices for communication surrounding the HIP process and the goals that come from it. Participants will leave with the detailed six-month schedule he uses to ensure a successful HIP process, as well as an execution checklist for leaders at all levels of the company.
