Jenny Posilkin is the Advertising Manager at Beaconfire RED, a digital fundraising agency providing fundraising strategy and campaigns, UX design and web development for nonprofits. Jenny develops and directs digital advertising campaigns that increase engagement, actions and revenue.
Elizabeth Sorrell is the director of social media for the National Audubon Society, where she is responsible for defining Audubon's brand, content, and constituent experience across the contemporary digital media ecosystem. She establishes the vision, strategy, metrics and outcomes that support and measure the success of Audubon's overall public messaging, marketing and engagement. In this role, Elizabeth acts as an essential resource for Audubon's nationwide network of chapters, centers and state offices by providing support and trainings on the topics of social media and digital storytelling. Under her tenure, Audubon's social media presence has enjoyed explosive growth in regards to both audience sizes and engagement. Elizabeth has presented on topics ranging from social video to diversity at conferences and events organized by Yale University, SxSW, PR News, Ragan Communications, Bulldog Reporter and more. Prior to joining Audubon, Elizabeth spent five years at The Karpel Group, a boutique PR and marketing firm specializing in outreach to LGBT audiences and grassroots campaigns, where she was responsible for managing the needs of a variety of clients including MTV, Paramount and Henson. Elizabeth volunteers her free time to advise small businesses and nonprofits on social media and digital marketing, including the EcoHealth Alliance, where she is the chairperson of their Young Professionals Council. Elizabeth has a bachelor's degree in playwriting from Northern Kentucky University, where she twice earned the Women's Studies Creative Writing Award.
