8:15 AM - 9:20 AM: Breakout 1
Professionals come to the world of nonprofits in fascinating ways and bring fascinating ideas with them. What can we learn from Golf Caddies? Street Artists? Stand-up Comedians? Amusement Park Retail Clerks? This panel of nonprofit pros started in very different arenas and all of them learned lessons along the way, as their careers moved into the nonprofit world.
In this fun Q&A, we'll discuss what ideas each of these people got from their first careers and how they see lessons applying to the nonprofit world. Then we'll challenge the audience to share their own unique stories and skills.
