11:15 AM - 12:30 PM: Breakout 6
"Mobile first" is becoming a reality almost everywhere. This session will provide a "top 10"how-to list for taking advantage of our donors' almost 24-hour connectivity.
Because most social media, as well as email and Web pages, are viewed on smartphones, mobile is becoming a key part of multi-channel acquisition programs. In this session we will highlight case studies from the Humane Society of the United States, the Bernie Sanders campaign, Oxfam, WWF UK, and other nonprofits who are using mobile to build their supporter bases and as a first channel to begin the acquisition process.
We'll review what makes a good proposition that drives mobile response and how to convert responders into monthly sustainers.
