Leading Through Change - Real Stories from Real Nonprofit Leaders
Friday, August 4th, 2017
11:15 AM - 12:30 PM: Breakout 6
Change is hard, we all know it. But at a time when our lives and our experiences continue to evolve so rapidly, we've learned that it's better to embrace and learn through change, rather than fight against it.

The way we interact internally within our own organization, and the methods by which we engage our donors and constituents, has evolved tremendously with the changes in the modern digital landscape. This requires nonprofits to think differently, to test new strategies, and to push the boundaries of, what used to be, the "only way" to do things.

So the question is, how do you get everyone on board to embrace change? In this session, hear from Nonprofit leaders at CARE, as they share how the organization embraced change from the ground up; from re-aligning relationships internally and with partners, to re-imagining more integrated media strategies, to connecting with new donor audiences. This session is all about creating a platform for positive change - from ideation to innovation and execution.
Learning Outcome #1

How to get everyone on board, excited and ready to embrace change -from employees, to partners, to the board - we'll help to illuminate change as evolutionary, without being revolutionary.
Learning Outcome #2
By attending this session participants will learn:
The ideation and brainstorming processes for change (with real life example from CARE), from new partner alignment, to a shift towards more thoughtfully integrated media strategies, and a new understanding of program metrics.
Learning Outcome #3

From ideas to implementation - how to develop a platform for implementing change, and how to think about measuring success.
To enhance the attendee's learning experience, we are looking for a variety of presentation styles. Please indicate your style: A discussion
