Brief Session Description: To assist Wisconsin school districts facing the challenge of determining how to collect and manage data, leadership from multiple districts will provide case studies of transitions to continuous improvement cultures during this session. When leadership teams utilize a data warehouse and dashboard system, educators can better make data-informed decisions and student-centered educational plans. Additional this presentation will focus on ways in which technology can personalize learning through Positive Behavior Intervention and Support planning (PBIS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and Program, Assessment, and Early Warning Monitoring. The need to make data-informed decisions at the K-12 levels led five Wisconsin districts to form the WISEdash Local consortium in 2014. WISEdash Local is a district-owned data warehouse and dashboard system.
