Ms. Nyegaard is the co-founder and CEO of ERISS Corporation, a woman-owned, award-winning firm serving local and state workforce organizations for over 20 years.
She was instrumental in ERISS's concept of developing the first automated labor market information software system in the 90's for the California Department of Employment Development and has steered her company into becoming one of the most innovative, agile and dependable research and technology firms in the industry. ERISS has worked with over 300 workforce development/TANF agencies across the nation including local, state and federal agencies.
Ms. Nyegaard holds a Master's Degree in Management from National University San Diego and is a proud recipient of many awards including California Business Woman of the Year, a Congressional Medal of Distinction and a former member of the President's Business Advisory Council. She also sits on the Board of Second Chance which helps former offenders and addicts re-enter the workforce. Her current passion in workforce, centers on deploying an innovative virtual case management support platform called SARA. It is the first technology of its kind, built with artificial intelligence, that transforms the way public agencies engage with clients, and seamlessly delivered shared services.
