Natasha Johnson, Director, Division of Family Development, New Jersey Department of Human Services
Natasha Johnson was appointed Director of the Division of Family Development (DFD) a Division within the New Jersey Department of Human Services in April 2015, after serving as Deputy Director for 4 years. As Director, she is responsible for the State's TANF, SNAP, Child Support and Child Care Programs. The Division also has a number of programs to support families including a behavioral health and substance abuse program. Prior to joining the DFD, Natasha was the senior vice president at Prevent Child Abuse New Jersey. During her eight years there, she worked on a nationally recognized home visitation program and a teen parenting program. Her career of service began working in the juvenile justice system with delinquent and substance abusing teens. Natasha has a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Social Work from Florida State University.
