Emily Campbell, Director of Organizational Effectiveness, APHSA
Emily Campbell is the Organizational Effectiveness Director for the American Public Human Services Association. Prior to joining APHSA, she worked as an Administrator for the State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services and as the OE Coordinator for the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System. In addition to a broad background in public administration and management, she has experience in child welfare training, staff development, and continuous quality improvement. She was employed in child protective services, foster care, and residential care, including serving as an ongoing CPS social worker in Raleigh, North Carolina and a manager in secure accommodation for juveniles in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has pursued her interests in international social work as an exchange student in Sweden. She holds a Master's of Science degree in Health and Social Services (with honors) from the London School of Economics and undergraduate degrees in Social Work and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
