1:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Breakout Session F - Legal Discussions - Moderator: Gregg P. Skall, JD
An encore session of last year's standing room only discussion of best practices for legal safe proofing your practice. The hot spots for State Medical Boards and the complaint process.
Since 1999 Mr. Simon's area of law practice is limited to the representation of clinics, hospitals and health care practitioners in litigation and regulatory matters against state and federal officials and agencies. Mr. Simon's practice focuses on the prosecution of the officials in state and federal courts based upon various regulatory and constitutional grounds. His practice also concentrates on the representation of health care practitioners, clinics and hospitals before administrative agencies and adjudicating forums. Mr. Simon's representative clientele is a cross section of physicians and clinics who practice complementary alternative medicine and/or chiropractic and/or dentistry. Mr. Simon represented and continues to represent physicians who diagnose and treat Lyme disease by ILADS guidelines and standards and he is a staunch advocate and defender of these practices. Mr. Simon is dedicated to keeping intact medical practices and physicians' licenses which come under attack and/or scrutiny.
