Magdalena Cubala-Kucharska MD, PhD; President of Foundation For Development of Integrative Medicine, Poland. Dr. Cubala-Kucharska developed her interest in autism in 2004, which led her to research on co-morbidities in autistic patients, with Lyme disease being one the of most important. She used to be a Consultant for Council of Natural Therapies and Consultant for Disability Program in Polish Ministry of Health. She used to cooperate with Autism Treatment Trust in Edinburgh. On a regular basis she is contributing to autism awareness by organizing international conferences in Poland and speaking during conferences in Europe. Her very busy practice is focused on managing patients with ASD, tick-borne diseases, autoimmune and environmental diseases. She is currently conducting her research in the field of autism and tick-borne infections in affiliation with Medical University of Lodz. She is publishing her findings in peer-reviewed journals.
