Vastly diverse learning styles, readiness levels, and interests, instructors find themselves teaching varying groups of students within courses. In distance learning, differentiated instruction supports learning by individualizing content, how we convey material, and how students demonstrate understanding. Allowing us to provide differentiated instruction in terms of content, process, and product.

Dr. Patti Huskin, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, Assistant Professor
Patti Huskin is an Assistant Professor in Special Education at Texas A & M University, Kingsville. Although new to higher education, she has been teaching special education for more than 30 years. At the university level she teaches online and hybrid courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in special education teacher preparation.
