Marci Powell, Marci Powell & Associates and USDLA, CEO | USDLA Chair Emerita
Marci Powell is Past President of TxDLA and Past President and Chair Emerita of the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) and currently serves as Chair of Global Partnerships.
Marci began her career in the classroom then moved into educational technology. Marci has served in K-12 and higher education primarily in distance learning.
Marci currently serves as a consultant to many education institutions and training organizations. Marci most recently spent the last 8 years as Global Director for Education at Polycom and prior to that was Director of Educational Advocacy for AT&T.

Marci has been recognized for her distance learning expertise by being inducted into the Texas Distance Learning Association (TxDLA) Hall of Fame in 2011 and the USDLA Hall of Fame in 2012. The European Distance and Elearning Network (EDEN) named her an EDEN Fellow. Marci was named Higher Ed Tech Decisions 2014 Top 10 Leaders in Higher Education.
