Jenny Akagi has worked as a non-profit arts fundraising professional at organizations including the Atlas Performing Arts Center, Ford's Theatre, and Wolf Trap. Her focus has been in the areas of foundation, government, and corporate fundraising. She applies to her work excellent customer service and works to build positive relationships with program officers, corporate partners, and foundation trustees. During her five years at Ford's Theatre, she contributed to the organization's $60 million capital campaign and significantly grew the portfolio of foundations that annually contribute to Ford's Theatre. At Wolf Trap, she managed a large portfolio of foundation and government funders and a cultivation schedule to engage funders in site visits, performances, and events. Most recently, Ms. Akagi worked at the Atlas Performing Arts Center located in the Capitol Hill/H Street neighborhood of Washington, DC where she lives with her husband and two children.
