Best Practices in Launching a QM Initiative
The Horse is Catching Up with the Buggy!
Lisa Clark, Assistant Dean and Associate Professor, University of Northwestern Ohio
This presentation will share the plan that I developed to fix major issues with my institution's online programs and address online retention. I will pick up where I left off at last year's conference when I had identified the problems and proposed a solution. As of January 2015, my proposal was approved at my institution and we are in year one of the implementation process. Topics such as new delivery expectations for faculty, a new Moodle theme and template design that starts the process of preparing courses for QM certification as well as accessibility, curriculum work, and new professional development requirements for faculty will be shared and discussed.
