Authentic Health and Science Lab Experience for Online Term and On-Demand Programs

Cathy Hunt, graduate of Morehead State University/ University of Kentucky, has been teaching biology lecture and lab courses for Henderson Community College, KCTCS, for thirty-five years and has been an enthusiastic developer and deliverer of online courses, including authentic, experiential biology labs in general biology, anatomy & physiology, and microbiology.

She will share her experiences from designing and teaching online biology labs in General Biology, Anatomy&Physiology and Microbiology using QM Certified lab kits with video and simulation support. She will discuss challenges of the online laboratory and responses to those challenges as well as the benefits to students.
