Emily Stark is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Her research interests include examining predictors of success in face-to-face and online courses, and faculty attitudes and beliefs toward teaching with technology.
Michael Manderfeld, Instructional Designer, Minnesota State University, Mankato
An Instructional Designer for Academic Technology services at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Michael works closely with the K-12 and Secondary Programs department within the College of Education, and serves as an adjunct faculty in both face to face and online courses. He is a peer-reviewer, and Quality Matters Coordinator.
The goal of this presentation is to describe the implementation and pilot results of introducing Quality Matters to faculty at this university via a cohort model. The presentation will give an overview of the model used, including recommendations for other institutions, along with reflections from faculty participants.
