Gary Westermark is responsible for spearheading the overall growth and direction of digital marketing initiatives supporting TIAA-CREF's life insurance and personal annuities businesses. He is responsible for marketing strategies to drive prospect engagement and customer acquisition through all digital channels including email, online advertising, search and social, optimization of web and emerging media platforms, and retargeting initiatives. He oversees web site design, tools and content development. He is known for out-of-the-box thinking and his lean but high-impact results-oriented approach including how to build and measure strong, fully integrated, marketing programs to meet a full range of client and business objectives. Prior to joining TIAA-CREF, Gary provided strategic leadership and marketing counsel across B2C and B2B initiatives for Liberty Mutual, Bank of America, and American Express. He earned an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from University of California, Berkeley.
