Jennifer Vanderveld is the VP Marketing and Development at the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. She handles the direct marketing as well as assists wtih major gifts programs with the goal of raising $70 million to complete the National Museum of the Marine Corps, expanding the Museum to share the legacy of Marines serving post-1975. She managed the planning and execution of all dedication events surrounding the opening of the Museum in 2006. The Museum currently tells the story of the USMC from 1775 until 1975 with annual visitorship of half a million each year. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked at the National Rifle Association as a Major Gifts and Individual Giving Program Coordinator, handling all donor special events and recognition programs. She began her non-profit career at the Boat Owners Association, working in membership marketing.
