As Director of Development & Operations, Christina supports the work of LAJF, to develop in promising young people from around the world a lifelong commitment to compassionate and responsible leadership for the betterment of their communities and the world. For 85 years, this mission has been fulfilled through a full-scholarship program, Camp Rising Sun, welcoming 120 students annually from around the world. Along with a network of nearly,000 alumni worldwide, including over 30 active alumni chapters, LAJF seeks to foster an appreciation of diversity and friendship across boundaries of color, religion, gender, culture and nationality. Each student is challenged to expand intellectual, artistic and cultural horizons, to develop an ethic of servant leadership that supports and motivates others, and provide service to others. Christina has worked collaboratively with staff and volunteers to develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies as well as alumni-focused communications, appealing to donors and prospects living in 95 countries and ranging in age from 15 to 95. A New York native, Christina now lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband, two children and a few fish.
