Getting your Board on board: How to Make Your Board LOVE Your Direct Response Fundraising Program

You've heard it all: "the letters are too long," "the program is too expensive," "I don't like our website," nonprofit Boards are infamous for finding fault with the direct response fundraising program. But, by involving and educating your Board and volunteers, they can become the best advocates for your program and a strong asset moving forward. In this presentation you'll hear from several non profits who will tell you how they taught their Board to love their direct response program. (There are 4 possible non-profit speakers who will be confirmed if this session is selected and we know the time. Organizations are: American Friends of the Hebrew University, HRC, Meals on Wheels, or Save the Chimps depending on timing)

Learn how to make the metrics of direct response fundraising accessible for all your volunteers. You'll learn how to make growth and return on investment come alive for your Board.

Get recent test results, industry benchmarks and case studies to help address some of the most common concerns expressed by volunteers: why are fundraising letters and emails so long? Why are we sending so many pieces?
