Two senior leaders at the National Women's Law Center present you with this lively session showcasing NWLC's innovative "Leadership 35" advisory board, created during the organization's 35th anniversary to upgrade and retain corporate donors and engage a new generation of women in the mission. Representatives from law firms and corporations at a certain giving level join this prestigious group that helps raise money from companies and individuals, engages with NWLC on program issues, facilitates pro bono service, and identifies candidates for other leadership positions. You will learn about how the group was conceived, its evolution, the impact it has had on NWLC and participants, and draw lessons from this case study to help your organization integrate fundraising and program while offering substantive engagement opportunities to your constituents. One of the volunteer members of the group's governing committee will co-present.
