As online learning practitioners, we spend time trying to figure out how to develop active learning within our courses. This session will showcase a variety of content samples that have been implemented to foster student-to-content interaction.

Alana Elkins, Learning Designer, University of South Florida
Alana received her B.A. in English, M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, and is currently pursuing an Ed.D in Program Development with an emphasis in Educational Innovation. After five years as a k-12 educator, Alana transitioned into the realm of instructional design and online education. Her approach to incorporating innovative online learning solutions is driven by looking at course developments from the student perspective, and making recommendations to best suit their evolving learning needs.
