Aligning Instructional Materials, Activities, and Tools with Objectives
In the "Aligning Instructional Materials, Activities & Tools with Objectives" workshop participants explore how to align course materials, activities, and tools with course objectives. Participants will learn about alignment, how to select instructional materials, incorporate learner interaction, and explore tools that can be used to promote learner engagement. Participants will complete an Alignment Check worksheet using their own objectives to ensure the materials, activities, and tools in their course support the objectives.

I recently retired from my positions as the Founding and Executive Director of WVROCKS and Graduate Associate Professor of Education at Fairmont State University but continue to teach classes in the Masters of Education in Digital Media Learning in an adjunct capacity and the WVROCKS program. I have taught QM workshops to over 1000 faculty, I am the 2019 recipient of the Ron Legon Award for Quality Assurance in Online Education.
