Universal Design: Creating Inclusive Hybrid and Online Learning Environments
When the global pandemic forced schools and universities to close in March 2020, remote teaching became the order of the day. This session will examine how faculty can create inclusive, "remote'' learning environments to meet the needs of all students, including the differently abled.
Learning Objectives
Identify barriers to teaching and learning in a remote or virtual environment.
Apply Universal Instructional Design principles to enhance learning experiences for all students.
Create inclusive, flexible, and adaptable hybrid and online learning environments.
