Next Steps After ASP2020: Publishing in the Conference Proceedings with ASPCS, Accessing Recordings of Sessions, and Providing Feedback: CLOSING SESSION
First, this "next steps" session will describe the process for presenters to get their contributions into the ASP2020 Conference Proceedings, via the ASP Conference Series.
Once the conference is over and everyone returns to normal business, the great work shared and discussed can begin to fade away…but not if this gets published! The proceedings volume becomes a valuable snapshot of a field at a moment in time, capturing the changes that will become the accepted "common knowledge" to a new generation of professionals in a few years. The ASP Conference Series "flattens the world" and guarantees that many more people around the world can learn what was presented at the conference. The articles are archived, cataloged, and made available for future reference and citation by people in over 150 nations. In this session, we will show you how to prepare your paper and submit it for publication, and explain why it is worth the time and effort to do so. (ASPCS tutorial video made for ASP2020: https://uvu.box.com/s/gw8fgnjg5dl6zkxy89v495tclpie32d3.)

Second, we'll discuss the video recordings of every ASP2020 session, which registrants will be able to access for a period of time into 2021.

Finally, the ASP team will facilitate a discussion encompassing direct feedback from attendees in the session, regarding ASP 2020, which will help guide us as we start thinking about a follow-up conference for 2021.
